Had leak at bottom of passenger wall

Hello all, I just completed the removal of the carpet and installation of vinyl in my 2003 Damon Challenger 348. While removing the carpet, I noticed that the bottom of the wall under the passengers window was all wet. I thought the window had leaked but there was no signs of water under the window. I pulled the wall covering off to expose the inner wall and to my surprize I found the problem. Right above the front edge of the wheel well, several wall tubing(frame) I believe were suppose to meet. Well they didn't and there was an exposed hole where I could see daylight. So for all these years whenever I drove in the rain, water splashed up from the tire and entered the hole and filling the bast of the wall. I sprayed insulation to fill the hole. It took three days with a heater blowing on the wall to completly dry it out. I have repalce the wall face and it is screwed on so I can check it to make sure I stay dry. So if you have an older Challenger and find the base of the wall wet, this is probably the problem.
