Actually, I might have a little. I have been hauling horse trailers behind motor homes, and 4x4 pickups for over 20 years. A horse trailer is even more important to level because it is less stressful on the horses legs. I once had to have the tongue extended 6 feet in order to fit it under an 11.5 foot camper. Extending the reciever would lower the tongue weight, and put more flex into the hitch.
I bought an 07 daybreak and found a hitch with a the right drop. If you can't find, in trailer supply store not an RV store, you can have a local welder make up one with the correct drop.
As far as the back end settling a bit, I haven't really noticed it. I have noticed however that because unlike a toad with a towbar or a car hauler with the single axle I have tongue weight and they have very little or none. So everytime I put the trailer on the motor home and off the tongue jack I can see the reciever flex. Without the weight on the hitch I can slide my hand between the reciever and the body. With the trailer on I can put my fist there.
