I had that problem and it took several years to figure out. My front headlight was rubbing against the fiberglass. Thin piece of rubber wedged between solved it. So glad it’s gone!

We bought our 1996 Daybreak in March 2019 - it had 22K miles on the odometer and was used and abused but thousands of $$ and a lot of manual labor later, it is getting close to making its maiden camping voyage. I love the space, the layout, the amount of storage, and the progress we've made! It's an infinite work-in-progress as I will have it completely remodeled by the time I die. I'd like to find a shorter sofa so I could extend the kitchen (a pantry would be nice, more counter space even nicer). I want to reupholster everything, pull down all the roller shades and replace with blinds (they're in the garage waiting their turn in line), and reseal the cabinet doors. Formica needs replaced everywhere and I'm thinking we can recoup our investment in the couldn't-use-it TrafficMaster vinyl plank by using it for the backsplash in the kitchen and bathroom area, and for the entry stair sides and risers (carpet for the steps).

Added some SumoSprings to our 2005 Daybreak, with a P32 Workhorse Chassis. Worth every penny! Removed a lot of that tail wag, rocking, and leaning on sharp turns.

Yay!! The blinds are up and the roller shades & valances are in the trash. The heater, water heater, stove, fridge (on electric and LP), A/C are all working as designed (after removing half a ton of mud dauber debris and replacing a couple of switches). New floor is down with matching molding, except in the cab, where the old carpet was torn out and replaced with some nice gray indoor/outdoor carpet. We took it out for a spin up SR 23, then back into town for gasoline and LP fill-ups. Laminate tops all still need replaced and backsplash put up, but I think we'll button it up soon. DH retires in another month and we should be ready to camp! I hope we make it before DH polishes off all the snacks I'm storing in there

New to us

Bought a 2006 Daybreak on f53 chassis. Installing 2k inverter and 600 amps of lithium batteries. Should be interesting.

Just curious

Just curious. We traded in our 2006 Daybreak in March. Wondering if maybe you bought it. We traded at Lazy Days in Seffner, Fl. I wish when we bought a used unit we could know who owned it before.
