Well the Inamorata has decided that it is time to update the old Damon. I know how this works, We will start out by removing the mirror that is over the dinette hanging on the wall for what reason it was we have not figured out yet but neither one of us care for it. The only one that can use it is the one facing it while sitting at the bench seat. So being a quilter she has made a wall hanging quilt to replace the mirror. This is how it starts.

From that she says she would like to update the curtains, while we are at it have I thought about replacing the rug with a different floor. (wood floor) What can we do with the carpet over the dog house she asked? Leave it alone was not going to be the correct answer here. I know if we change the curtains recovering the bench seats will be next, then on too the captains chairs.

Then we have the kitchen area, We will leave that for a different post. I will start with the important part first, I need new rubber on the back (tires)

I will watch your progress closely. I do need to replace the section of vinyl kitchen tiles.

Just an update on myself - We have decided to with a Class C (On order). Just could not justify spending $$ on another RV parking garage. My current RV undercover parking is perfect for us, concrete flooring, and with RV electrical box.

Had the Damon / Thor fit underneath, I would have it !

I am glad we brought this thread back to life, and I learned a lot about the product! If you guys / gals don't mind this " outsider" hanging around, I will pop in every once in awhile !

How exciting, a new motorhome, that has a home! Next house we buy must have a garage that our motorhome will fit in.

Enjoy, and when you find an especially nice place to tour let us know.

We have a mirror on the wall behind the driver side of the MH. If you are sitting in one side of the seat you can watch yourself eat.

The GF is a quilter and thought we needed a quilt on the wall instead.

Love everything about our daybreak since I redid the floor plan EXCEPT changing the oil. I build hotrods for a hobby and have never seen a worse set up to change the engine oil as the Damond. They must have been drinking heavily when they design it.

What year is your DB ? I don't have any problem changing the oil in mine.

I had to replace the master break cylinder and Hydro boost. After looking at what was involved I took it to the shop and had them replace it. Very happy I did as it took them a day longer then they thought it would take. This is located very near the exhaust manifold and I will be installing a shield to keep the heat off the master cylinder.

Looking at replacing the carpet with something else and most likely will replace the floor vent covers then.

Today I went and had a tail pipe fabricated, last fall the hanger broke, the pipe fell off, running over it flattening the end of the pipe. The rear tires have some miner cracking plus they are going on 8 years old. One has a slow leak so decided to replace them on Friday. $ 677 for the four of them. 285/85/16s
