We've experienced sporadic overheating in our 3470 shortly after purchase (Dec 2012).
Freightliner tech support gave us fan clutch solution 3737 which we took to multiple service dealers as late as last Mar prior to orig warranty expiration.
All too no avail.
Heading to South Florida Jan 1st, overheating reared ugly head. Seems fan clutchhad original short coming of not re-engaging after repeated stop n go.
Pulled into Freightliner dealer and through phone calls with Freightliner folks on Jan 2nd received updated fan clutch parts.

Yes, thankfully, when I contacted Freightliner and explained the history and they reviewed their file on our calls, they covered the entire costs.
While the 3rd service dealer we took it to did repair it, it was only because we forced the fan clutch issue and called Freightliner. Some service folks do not want to communicate with the factories.
Anyway Jim, all is great now. Vince

Another 2008 Astoria 3776 owner here. Bought her new 5 years ago and have close to 40000 miles on her.
Anyone with an 08 Pacifica model have a picture of how they wired/mounted the inverter??

I have 08 Astoria 3786 PE. We have a 1800W inverter, located in the passengers rear compartment mounted to the top of the compartment. The cables are all routed through anti chafing tubes. If you need pictures of that I'll take some tomorrow AM.
We have slightly over 40000 miles. We replaced the original bucket seats with better ones last week. This year I want to install solar and a new 3KW inverter. Have you had any problems? We are very pleased with ours and love the floor plan, kitchen island one.
Steve

Dan, our current inverter is a Xantrex Pro XM 1800. Is that also yours?
