It's a first for me!
I did a first blog with the below text, but at the moment, I'm so stoked I wanted to everyone to know, so I'm posting here too!
Today has been a busy day.. First time oil and filter change. While I was at it, I also installed one of those Fomoto drain valves. I removed the original plug and then install the Fomoto in mid stream with the old oil to make sure it was gonna work before I refilled. Gonna put a ziptie on the drain cock to be sure it don't accidentally get moved to drain everything. Think I"m gonna like it. As it was draining, I got a Blackstone oil sample to burn for a baseline.
Next was to tackle the big canister air filter in the back for the first change. Kept looking at and wondering how the heck I'm gonna get to the dang top clamp. Then I saw an external panel that would swing open to the top. Heck no sweat now, until I saw the mounting clamp that would not open because they put part on the frame right on the flip top clamp. No way to open the clamp, how the heck I"m gonna do this? Well, I had to take the clamp assembly off to remove the filter. Shoot, now what, I cant open, I sure can't close. Well then..Hmm.. I took the whole mounting clamp off and turn it over so the flip clamp goes the other direction..Sweet! Cleaned out both ends of the tubes, install the drain and clamps. All done, not so bad.
The next and last first for the day. The one I"m most proud of is passing the Texas driving portion of class B drivers license..Whoohooo!!! I"m legal now. This wasn't bad at all. We just drove around town, chit chatted about where we already been, and where we was planning to go this year. Kinda shocked me when the question where we've been already. Now, I thought how do I respond to this when I wasn't 'legal' yet. She really thought it was great getting out in one of these.
It was definitely one great day!

I bet you were stoked! What year is your coach? Wondering if I might encounter the same problem you did!

Here a picture of the air filter and clamps that I had to swap around. Wasn't to hard, just supporting while removing kinda awkward.

We have slightly over 40000 miles. We replaced the original bucket seats with better ones last week. This year I want to install solar and a new 3KW inverter. Have you had any problems? We are very pleased with ours and love the floor plan, kitchen island one.

Hello Steve. We are also in the process of checking out solar power for our 3470. Interested if you have any details on different systems, etc. We have been researching AM SOLAR and are curious as to thoughts, experiences, etc.
Thanks. Vince.

Thats what I remember, the diode/heat shrink. Just did a look over my papers, I did have it accomplished. They didn't find a problem.

Say, would someone tell me where the PacBrake is located. Working on the lube for the season, but this has me stumped. Thanks!

Vince,
From what I hear they are great. I plan to have them do our solar later in the spring. If you go first let me know how they are. They have a good website with lots of educational material. If we go first I let you know of our experience.
