I have not used the program but the folks that I know that have used have all saved money. The dues are very reasonable. I will see if I can get a price this morning.

I thought it is a very bad thing to do that. Since I'm new to diesels, should we be concerned? Thanks for your input.

Makes no difference at all...

We had Goodyear G670 for 6years on our 2008 Astoria 3786. 47000 good miles on them? We tried to switch to Michelin this summer but the tire shops were all out of our size. We went to ToYo, they had been on Country Coach motor homes as OEM in the past. The ToYo were less money, ride seems good my next set will be Michelins, through the FMCA program.

Michelin 2 Different Sizes & PRICES

#1 WE have two ( 2 ) different sized tires on our Damon 2006 Astoria 36'
All Four Small 235/80R/22.5 on Rear.
But Larger 255/80R/22/5 Steering Tires on Front.
Is this considered original or installed by a previous owner who has changed an original tire configuration by Damon ?

#2 ALSO What Price are others finding for the Michelin 235/80R/22/5 ?

Tire size

Sounds odd to me, but you should be able to find the tire spec on the label in the compartment above the driver.

Is there a group of Astoria Owners?

These are big complex vehicles that have air brakes, hydraulic systems, Diesel engines, diesel generators, AC units, gas and electric water heater's gone gas and electric refrigerators. We have had our motorhome for seven years, and we are still learning. This and the FMCA forums are very good. We have learned a lot from them. Ask and information flows in.

This non-diesel, non automotive geek ( me )
Really appreciated the 2 Generator manuals that were sent.
Few manuals came with the Damon RV.
Only 7,000 actual miles were on the 2006 Damon when bought just
4 weeks ago.
Im in process of discovery and contacting Thor/Damon to get manuals
we do not have. So far Little help

Mean-time question ..... Is there a simple method of discovering if the
Diesel QuietPact Generator is sharing Freightliner Diesel fuel supply ?

Typically, yes, same fuel supply. Btw, if your fuel tank is less than1/8 full the generator will stop and not restart until you put more fuel in the tank.

Shared Diesel...Generac and Coach Engine

I honestly appreciate all the comments:

My previous Class C Rv had a shared gas tank with generator. I believed this because it was explained to me ( never shown ) by the person we bought the Class C from. And was told I had til 1/4 tank, until generator shut off. Never did see it in equipment or schematics.

#1 My real problem with our current 2006 Damon Class A ( bought from private seller ) is in actually wanting to see ( schematics ) and understand the mechanics in some way to myself. As well as being able to see it.

Never was a car geek or mechanic, its something I need to see or read before it sinks in.

Is there any way this can be something to view and where ?

Guess I need to discover the proper engine / 2006 Damon schematics for our Damon/Pacific in some way.

#2 Is drive it to a Freightliner Facility and have them do a walk thru for us and a teaching moment. There are other questions we also have that make this tghe best possible use of time and reward

thanx for all efforts.

Thought I would share the progress on my new garage. Room for all my toys, truck & RV. Plus a ~865 sqft apartment on the second floor. . Hope to be done here in about 45 days. Merry Christmas & happy new year to all.
