Hi Bear,
Can you rake a few pictures of location and install? Sounds like it is only a matter of time before ours fails!

Tks

Jim

Black tank flush will not allow water to flush

Our Black Tank Flush Inlet does NOT flush. Unable to get water to enter the flush system in Basement Waste Cabinet using a simple garden hose.
I seem to remember seeing a post that had a similar occurrence, and a cure was found were ?
IF my understanding is correct, please can someone provide what was done to fix the BLACK TANK FLUSH TO WORK.

My solution to the under sink siphon change.
Now have a Lake View RV Supply Siphon, and found this by San-T-Flush.

Amazon.com: San-T-Flush Kit with Plastic Vacuum Breaker (SFS350): Automotive

My Black Water Flush Valve is a Lake View RV Supply Company Model 1000 - 1/2" pvc and is as simple as removing both 1/2" diam garden hose female fittings.

Our 2009 Damon Astoria has been in service this entire winter. The parts arrived for the work to be performed and all of the batteries, both chassis and coach had blown up (literally) from the cold temperatures. I know where the shut off is located for the cabin batteries (next to the front door on the panel) but I can't seem to locate the shut off for the chassis batteries. Does anyone know if our coach has one and if it does, where it would be located?

Thank you!!!

Jon

My '12 Astoria has a manual battery shut off for the chassis batteries in on the back wall of the battery compartment. It is a large dial switch with the name "Perko" on it. It looks kinda like this:

I am having them check... appreciate the response. Their initial email indicated there was nothing there but they will check again.

The battery shut off is in the second compartment from the rear on the passenger side. It'a a fairly narrow door compared to the ones either side.
On mine there is a rotary switch on the back wall which isolates the coach batteries from coach system. Did your batteries actually burst due to the extreme cold? Hope not, that's scary.
Good Luck fellow Astoria owner.

Hi Damon Astoria owners. The left side stop light quit on my 2010 so I figured it would be an easy job to replace the bulb or even go LED. It appears that the light assembly is all one glued together part. After the connector comes off and you remove the assembly all you have is the red reflector and the domed back. Can't find one at auto or truck shops. Naturally the little honey is made in China. Has anyone ever replaced one and where did they get it or is there a way to take it apart?
