David, did your AC units stop working or did you just want a better unit. Our original units (2008 model) seem to be as they always have been .... just OK. I try to budget the upgrades and do a few each year. I think AC and new toppers are for next year.

Steve, to be honest, we were tailgating and it was 107 and 98 inside and I got pi$$ed and had them replaced so that we would have more capacity. I am still contemplating a third unit.

For those of you who are considering installing Bilstein shocks on your coach I just saw on add from Shock Warehouse (Florida) in my Netflix newsletter.
Use promo code BILREM on your order and get 10 bucks off. Every little bit helps - right

We couldn't agree with CW on the terms. It looked like a good coach and we were ready to go thru with an independent inspection but they changed the terms. No Sale.
We have a 2002 Intruder gasser 38 ft and we had to install suspension upgrades to make it drivable, so a lot would have depended on the inspection before we would agree to buy the Astoria.

Las Vages tomorrow! Three day of touring and a morning of repairs. A truck passed, cut in quickly and shot a stone into the windshield....again. Just another small chip to repair. Insurance covers the repair, but down time is always hard.

Today was our first day of towing the new cherokee. Seems to be OK so far.

Astoria preformed well, nearly broken in at 45K miles.

Where do you tie up in Glitter Gulch? We love Las Vegas RV Resort on S. Nellis Bvld just north of Sams Town. Do you have a favorite park that you can recommend?

Looks nice. Will try it sometimes. We like the Las Vegas RV Resort on S. Nellis Blvd.
$29.95 night unlimited. You can walk to Aces & Ales, half a block. Tons of craft beers. My style

satelite tv

Hi All,
So I finally was able to get my satellite tv hooked up, but had to run it through the window. Does anyone know how to get it to run directly through my cable hook up in my outside compartment?
I purchased the winegard carryout model and was easily able to find satelite, but I dint like having to run it through the window when we have this fancy hookup inside the ent center.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks,

Here is the promised report for the new tires. Made the first 600 mile drive on the new Michelin XZA2s on Thursday. All I can say is I wish that I had dumped the Goodyears 20,000 miles ago. What a difference; the coach is more stable on the road and the ride is so smooth. In fact, several times I creeped up to 80 from 70 without even noticing it. DW noticed the difference as well. Now on to the new Bilsteins.

I just replaced the check/anti siphon valve to the black tank flush which is located under the vanity in my 2010. This is the second replacement. The initial B&B Molding unit failed last year and the very helpful folk at B&B replaced it N/C. The replacement appeared to be identical and failed this week. Good people at B&B unfortunately the product isn't much good. I replaced it with a San-T-Flush Kit with Brass Vacuum Breaker (SFS150) by Swann Industries bought on Amazon.com. So far it works fine. No vibration or squeals, just a smooth operation.
