Yeah, my circuit breaker panel is located just as you past the bedroom door bottom right under 2 small vanity/medicine cabinets. My rear AC unit trips the breaker sometimes. Won't be too long before I have to replace that dude. It has been struggling for years and probably from running it on too low of a voltage previous years, but it still gets ice cold & runs good on low so I will milk it as long as I can.

Last time we were out (June 12-16) I started having a squealing problem again on my generator trying to run both AC's. I had the gene checked little more than a year ago & the tech said I would need to replace the drive belt soon. Got ~1750 hours on it.
I started to pull the panels off today & due to how my gene was installed, it is going to be much easier to drop my whole generator to work on it. My gene does not slide out & the nim-roads that installed it did not center it between the frame rails so I can't get the passenger side cover off to get to the belt. Fortunately I have a friend with a cherry picker & motor cycle lift that we will use next weekend to lower the gene to the ground. Only 8 bolts, battery cables, fuel lines, exhaust, & one wire harness & the whole generator will come out. That will allow us to work on the thing easy & replace anything that is needed.
Maybe one of these days I will look into how I might be able to install a slide for better access.

Camping in Magnus Park in Petoskey Michigan this week. Lot of sand here. Noticed one of our leveling jacks is dropped about 3" from when we leveled. Any advice on closing our slides when we pack up? We were told not to move the slides until we leveled and the jacks down. Im not sure how tempermental these slides are. Have heard horror stories of slides shifting and causing leaks under floors and such. Should we try to relevel again before bringing in the slides. This is our first motorhome with slides and we don't want to screw anything up on our first trip. Any suggestions?

I'm no expert, but I really don't like the thought of trying to level my coach with the slides out. I have noticed that just the slightest movement, me swinging my arm out or the door being open & moving in wind, effects the leveling.
If it were me, I would bring the slides in now re level & extend. Just me.
As soon as I notice a level change I pull my slides in & re level. Not sure how much 3" will do for pulling slide in. Seems a lot to me.

Bring em in and re-level...really your only choice...I would not want to level with them extended...our coach's are pretty tough and engineered for situations like this. Also I would get some jack pads...I use them everywhere I go...

Like the other guys say don't level or re-level with the slides out no matter how much the co-pilot complains about having to put stuff away. Until you see someone else with a slide stuck and not square then you'll appreciate why.
When I was a young man in the UK I had an MGB convertible. The general opinion about the convertible roof also applies to slide outs. They're OK when they're in and OK when they're out. It's the bit in between that can be a problem!

Nice storage!! I've got a meeting tomorrow night with city planning & zoning to work with them to increase the max size a detached garage can be. I signed a contract with my GC 2 months ago to build me a nice detached garage 1700 sq/ft bottom floor (47x18 of it for the Astoria) and 850 sq/ft second floor that is a condo, which was to be completed by August. Come to find out after I got the funds together the GC never got the permit because the max sq/ft is only 900. So my GC & I have been working over the city to get the code changed. Finally on the agenda tomorrow night, then again with the mayor & city council next Tuesday. Hopefully we start building Wednesday!!

I saw your post about the ISB360 enhancement... I was talking with my mechanic who works on big commercial busses all the time... Very experienced ... He said it is not that difficult...and it will add HP And torque...but he also said the engine would run hotter and most likely use more fuel...I also wonder what it would do to Cummins warranty...
