Just made a deal on a Daybreak!

Debi & I just made a handshake deal with a local dealer for a 2006 Damon Daybreak 3272F. Real nice and clean and we are very excited. They are giving us very good value from our class c trade and we will be able to do cash for the balance. We should have it on or about Tuesday this week! Let's see, where should we go first? Maybe to the Sea!!!

We often go to Bodega Bay as well, in fact we were married at Bodega head beach just 13 years ago. In the past we have mostly stayed at either Wright's beach or the Dunes but we may try the park in the bay one of these days.

We have stayed at Doran Park and Porto bodega and bodega bay rv park. Also we have stayed at Dillons beach in the past but not recently we have never been able to get in at wrights beach . We don't really care where we stay when there just as long as we are near the ocean and love going out to the Bodega Head to watch for whales and just enjoy the views.

I'm new to the Forum & RVing, but my wife & I have just done something similar. A handshake deal with a private owner on a 2005 Damon Daybreak 3060. Anyone have any suggests on what major issues to be aware of? Appears pretty clean for a 2005 and has only 31,000 miles on the powertrain.

Well, we already have a sailboat so the motorhome is not a real reason to go there but I can't think of anywhere else nearly as fun!

Congrats to you and Debi! I am sure you will enjoy your new rig immensely. I look forward to reading about your adventures in your new "land yacht".

Well we have yet to pick up our Daybreak as the dealer, in doing his prep work has discovered a couple of problems. One, the dash A/C needed charging, which has been done. But the leveling system apppearantly had a valve that was allowing fluid to leak by. He had to order a part from the factory and then found that the new part did not include a solinoid that he thought was part of the assembly so he had to reorder that. The part should be here early in the coming week. It seems he is doing a thorough job of prepping this rig. We are excitedly awaiting delivery.

That's a nice looking rig I saw it a couple of weeks ago cruising local dealer site and I think it was priced great and a nice floor plan lay out and I am sure you will enjoy it
