Its a PITA, but you can go ahead and release the plumbing underneath, if you're handy with tools, a few #8 thread, proper length and some 3m glue can restore the bracing wood pieces. then re-caulk the sink back into place (might even want to add bracing ahead of time so the sink fits tighter). Let it dry real good at least a day, then reconnect the plumbing. Should be good to go. If you're not handy with tools or are afraid to tackle it, then it still can be done, but will cost you $$$.
