We just purchased an 08 Damon Essence. I know very little about Damon coaches so I expect I may many questions about things in this coach line. Right now I find it to be a well put together coach. The joinery in the wood and cabinets seems better than the 2000 Itasca Horizon we just sold... and I have been a Winnebago fan for years.

This Essence has bells and whistles that I had never needed nor particularly wanted, but Ms C saw the floor plan with the Euro recliners and said 'this is it'. The paint is absolutely excellent.
I realize we had a walk through and the guy was very good but either forgot or didn't know or whatever I have a question/problem with the heat.
Problem I have right now is trying to figure out how to turn the furnace on. It has roof A/C and heat pumps. I cannot find a thermostat for the furnace, but it does have two remote controls for the A/C and heat pumps.
Do these remotes also controi the furnace. I was able to get warm air out of the roof top devices, but nothing flowing from the floor vents (which I presume are from the furnace)
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

You need to put the remote control in "furnace" mode. On the Outlaw I only turn on the AC unit in the rear (there are only 2 ACs on the Outlaw. I then put the remote control in "furnace" mode and then I can adjust the temps. Suddenly heat from the floor!
