Newbie needs owner's manual
Hello all:
Newbie here. I just bought a very nice 1997 Damon Hornet 18H.
Of course it did not come with an owner's manual.
I got on the Thor/Damon web site and requested an owner's manual.
What they sent was a mostly useless, generic manual for all Damon/Thor
units.
It did not have any info regarding how to operate the electrical system,
water heater, refrigerator, elec. inverter, etc. etc. on my trailer.
Can anyone direct me to a source for a REAL owner's manual for my
travel trailer???
Jerry

Most of the appliances are all generic to the industry. Finding information on them you will need to look up each manufacture and model number. The only way to find a manual is to have someone with the same TT that might have one copy it for you. Most of the information when Damon sold out is gone.
If you have a question on operation take a picture of the item, post and ask your question.

Hi Jerry,
Welcome to the forum! There is a "Owner's Forum" above here that might lead you to someone who can help you. It's worth checking out.
Otherwise, try the "Vintage RV" page and see if there are any answers there. Good Luck!

Jerry,
I found an old post from a lady who has a 1997 Damon Hornet. Hopefully she is still on here and can help you. I sent her a PM. If you put your rig in the search engine here I think you will find her there.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Will do my best to keep it between
the ditches. And.... as we pilots say: Keep the shiney side up!

I found owner's manuals for the refrigerator and the hot water heater at the
web sites for Norcold and Atwood respectively.
Still would like to have the 1997 Damon Hornet 18H owner's manual or any
type specific literature or information.
Thanks,
Jerry

Check with Norcold for any recalls on your model, then look and see if they were done.
You will also find your power converter info on line if needed.
