I have a 2003 Damon Challenger 32 foot ford F 53 chassis with V10 engine. I have had intermittent times when it is dead when I turn the key. Very frustrating. It acts like a totally dead battery but the battery is good. I get no ignition, panel lights or fans. There is a large solenoid connected to the battery by about a 2 foot cable. I have wiggled this cable at the solenoid end with a wrench on the solenoid nuts and everything starts up again. I just last week replaced the solenoid and I am about 90 % sure this will cure the problem.

Do you have a battery shut off switch?
