Outlaw - Battery/Charging & terminals in Garage

Does anyone know te power source for te pos/neg terminals in my garage? Does it draw on house batteries?

I am looking to rig up solar trickle charge for chassis, house, and two motorcycle batteries. There is a set of two 5W panels at home depot for $130.

Can I put one bike battery on the terminals in garage, and connect one to the chassis battery like a splice, and keep all batteries alive for 3 months of Houston, TX sun?

Not all Outlaws are wired the same...like some have the dash radio on the house circuit and some have it on the chassis battery...

But the garage charging station in my Outlaw is on the house battery circuit. An easy way to check is to connect something to the garage terminals - then shut-off the house battery power with the battery disconnect switch in the entry stairwell - to see if the garage terminals go dead.

A solar set-up is nice to have for storage and boondocking...good luck with that install.

Disconnecting a house or coach batteries is a simple way to isolate the plug in the garage.

Before you do any solar, read up on it and controllers so you don't fry your batteries.
Check out the RV Solar Education of Welcome to AM Solar_Your RV Solar Specialists since 1987
I have 4 panels on my roof and four 700 amp AGM batteries located in the compartment above the propane tank. AM Solar did installation in 2008 and no problems.
