Parts & information question 03 Damon Challenger

Hi everyone. I'm new to the group. so am just getting started. Found the group while searching for parts and information on a 2003 Damon Challenger
Model P32122. It appears that Thor Coaches bought out Damon in 2003. Has anyone found a good source for information and/or parts for the old Damon?

Thanks

Most parts are manufactured by another company and Damon installs them so as long as that company has parts it shouldn’t be a problem. I’ve not had any problems finding various parts.

Thanks IRV4FUN

Thanks for the information. First of all, how do you identify who the original manufacturer is? My initial quest is for build diagrams. My rig came without a ladder, and although there are a myriad of ladders available, our local RV shop will not install one without knowing where the studs are placed to install into. They are rightfully worried about liability issues. I have found out Damon was purchased by Thor, and Thor has changed hands many times since then. My local Thor dealer is not very cooperative. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
finediners

If your rig never had a ladder, then it might be very difficult to match.

If it was my rig, I’d look around for a similar make and model with a ladder. Look for a manufacturerer name badge. Then google it. Get permission and take a boat load of pictures and draw it out on a piece of paper all the locations of the ladder’s attachments. Using a tape measure hopefully I’d find the attachments lining up.

Mine is 03 Challenger 348, can certainly get you pics, measurements from mine.

Would not a studfinder indicate the stringers or other reinforcement?
