Relay for Living Room slide... where is it?

I have a 2004 Damon Intruder 373 model. Love it.

But, there are times when the slide just won't move, especially if its been sitting a couple of months.

I hit the "out" button and no activity at all. So while holding the button, I turn the key on and off continually. This basically wakes it up and it starts working again. Then its fine for a while.

Obviously there's a problem with the relay that controls the large slide (so I'm thinking'

Where is it located? DOes anyone know?

Maurice

Might be on the "ceiling" in the basement. That is where it
is on my Tuscany.

Yes, but once the batteries are charged, I still have a problem with it not working. So I do my little truck with the key switch to get the relay to start working. Then its good til I put it in storage again....

Sounds more like the motor than a relay to me. Do you know where your motor is? Can you see it? If you can get to it the next time it happens try tapping lightly on the motor with a smaller hammer a few times then try it, sometimes if you have a dirty armature the vibration from tapping helps.

Don't go crazy with a hand help sledge hammer.

It's been a old stand by trick for electric in tank fuel pumps and starters for years.

You are lucky it is under cover. On our 2001 Challenger, it is on the front of the firewall in the engine compartment, it was nice and green with corrosion! I need to at least make or get a cover for it so it is out of the weather.

Slide Relay

We have a 2007 Damon Challenger and the relay is behind the control panel where the slide switches are (F53 Ford Chassis).

Also, in 2014, lounge slide would not retract. Found loose connections
at the motor itself underneath slide. Secured the wires, no additional
problems as of today.

We have a 2003 Intruder 373, Workhorse Chassis...the motor and controller are accessible at the rear of the first compartment behind the driver entry door, the relay control board is mounted on the floor ceiling above the slide motor.

Slide Controller Board

On our 2003 Damon Indruder, the board is located in the "ceiling" in the first compartment aft of the drivers door. First photo shows it removed from the ceiling-hanging outside. 2nd photo I'm pointing to the Auto-Resetting 20amp circuit breaker which will trip and quickly reset when the current load exceeds 20amps. (the current will rise when the slide hits the 'In" and "Out" mechanical stops).

The original breaker was probably tired after all these years of use.

The Slo-Blow fuse beneath the breaker needs to have a rating of 5 amps more than the circuit breaker. I did not replace the fuse, as I replaced the breaker with the same amp rating as the original.

The replacement circuit breaker was obtained from AutoZone for less than $5!

Does anyone know where the control switch is for my model? This also may be my problem instead of a replacement of the rocker switch. Slide goes out but does not want to go back in.
