Removing a basement door
Does anyone here know how to remove a basement door on a 2008 Tuscany 4076? Accidentally tried to close a slide with a door open and it got crushed.

Sorry I got busy. looks as mine are riveted on. Maybe the trim piece above the door can come off and revile some screws. I would call Thore.

Well, Thor said that the door is "obsolete" So I can't get a new door. 2008 is too old I guess. I wonder if one can find a used one in a junk yard?

When i bought our MH one basement door had a pretty good dent in it. I removed hinges (one side) and the screws holding the piston. Took door to an autobody shop and voila. Was pretty reasonable also

ok. I was asking because visionerv has several Tuscany's with doors on them. But they usually want a LOT for their parts.

Just an update, I got my Tuscany back from the body shop last week, they did an outstanding job. Looks like new again. The bill was $3700.00 cost me 1000.00 deductible.
