Sanitize tank without a fill?

Got me buffaloed! I know how to sanitize a water tank and the rest of the lines when you have a gravity fill, but how do you do it without an external fill? Damon suggested using the antifreeze line, but that wouldn't get the tank. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I just disconnect the water hose from the outside water fauset and empty some of the water out and pour about a cup of bleach into the hose and connect back up to the fauset. Switch the valve to tank fill and fill the tank. The bleach goes right to the tank.

I've always diluted the bleach before adding to the RV (1 gallon per 1/4 cup bleach), but your way leaves the straight bleach only in the water hose and that's just for a few seconds. Sounds good to me. Thanks!

Both great suggestions! Solves my problem. Maybe I'll pass this over to Damon because they sure didn't know.

Just finished sanitizing tank and lines. Used the filter idea-it was easier than pouring solution into a fill opening. Thanks again!
