Source for slide "Transit Bar"

I have a '07 Damon Outlaw 3611...

The previous owner lost/dumped/ditched what my owner manual calls the Transit Bar for the slide.

Others including Camping World and the like, call them Slide Locks, but those are not the kind that actually fit.

I understand many don't use them, but once I saw the top of the slide flex during a strong crosswind and so I don't want the wear and tear on the slide and seals if I can avoid it.

I am using a generic bar and want to have one that actually fits the in-wall socket...ANYONE KNOW WHO MADE THE ORIGINAL?

A vendor that sells most Thor parts is located in Elkhart, IN
They are Total Value RV "TotalValueRV.com" Tel: 866-282-4460

They will get parts from Thor and ship to you.

I needed an additional slide lock from Thor and told the service department and they sent me another one for free. Maybe you can get lucky like I did.

You are a smart individual!

About those that don't use the bar, just to a Forum Search here for "Slide Lock" and read all the posts from people that don't use them...many for fear of damage if they forget the lock while opening the slide

Safe travels
