I's been great watchin all your great work!
Can I ask a question about the 30 - 50 amp upgrade? I've been lookin g this for our 2004 Damon Challenger 348F. this is what I have come up with but would love some reassurance.
- Progessive Dynamics
- 50 AMP automatica Transfer Switch ($120)
- Inteli-Power 4500 Series AC/DC panel
- New 50 AMP shore cord
- Camco 30' 50amp cord is $110

Patsikes - My DH said he will do a bit of research on the items you listed just to make sure. I will post back tonight or tomorrow night.

So...this is my DH's response to your question. (He answered me via email):
Looks like the PD52 transfer switch will work just like ours, which is the surge guard 41260. Surge Guard 50A Automatic Transfer Switch with Limited Protection | Technology Research Corporation
We also got a manual cord reel. These 50 amp cords are heavy and hard to roll up and store. Shoreline Reels CC50H01R Right Side Manual Hand Crank Cord Reel Comes with a 34' cord.
We wanted to separate the converter/charger to another location, (ours was under the bed and was noisy). We also had a large pure sine inverter with these functions built in, so we used that.
Looks like everything you have picked will work just fine. I would go with the PD4575 because it has an 80 amp inrush current vs 47 for the 4560.
Our Damon has a 6500 Onan, which according to the manual we have, shows that it has a 20 amp and a 30 amp breaker. For the transfer switch to work properly, it has to be wired with 2 - 30 Amp breakers, so that slowed down the install a bit. Turned out after opening up the generator that it had 2 - 30 Amp installed and not what was labeled on the outside of the gennie.
I hope that helps!

Little Things Make A Home
We have added a carpet runner down the hallway- but there is a register in the middle of the hall.
Here is what I did-

Stay tuned for other improvements to this picture.
You can also see a bit more on the blog.

Mr. Willard- We have an appointment first thing Saturday AM at the big tent. We will actually go to town on Friday night, but we expect to make it to wherever the group gathers on Thursday afternoon...barring any problems while on the road headed to Quartzsite. We expect to be back in the desert sometime Saturday afternoon.
DH said he will make sure we get back to the group with his tools so he can lend you a hand. (I notice others on that thread like cookies and beer- is there anything besides a helping hand that you might like?)

We have completed Day 1 of "The Diamond's Maiden Voyage" and we all survived!
I haven't figured out how to copy my pics with my nook so you will have to go to my blog to see the photos I took of the inside of the rig last night. (The link is listed below.)
