We (which means DH) finally got the passenger cabin sidewall replaced.
(There is a 'behind the scenes' story that I will divulge at a later date.)
Please visit my blog for more photos of this project.

Thank you both for the compliments-they let me know that this long process is really wkrth it.
Mavric65, can I ask what is your favorite closest place near Sacramento that you like to get away to? I am always looking for spots that are nearby.

Damon Diva we go to several places depending on weather. If its hot we go to the coast to Bodega Bay or Half Moon Bay to get out of the heat. Also we go to Plymouth year round its only 40 miles from the house so quick to get there and then we take the car and go sight seeing or to the fair in Amador county which is right next to the rv park . Also we go to Lake Camanchee in the fall and winter on the south shore at the monument rv park and stay on the trout pond its also close only about 60 miles from home . We usually go once a month somewhere for a weekend. Hope this helps. Also Jackson Rancheria has a nice park also. Oh yeah I forgot about Collins Lake just out of Marysville

We discovered this morning, our Damon Escaper has no coach 12 volt power . There is no voltage on the input side of the inverter, which would normally have 12 volts on it, when not on shower power. i am suspecting the transfer switch.
That said, what was DH's selection of a Transfer switch and if I may be so bold, are we looking at a second mortgage or just a mini home improvement loan?

So my DH tried to tell me what to tell you and I was at work so I asked him to type out the right answer. (It scares me every time he talks electrical that I think my eyes glaze over - and I have no reason to be worried except for my own fear!) The following is his response:
O.K. WB2IVU
I think you just have names of things mixed up in your post.
- Inverter incoming power is not 12 volt. If you have an INVERTER, the voltage coming into it will be 120V. This is used to power some 120 volt outlets throughout the coach. Some of them also have a Battery Charging Circuit and a Converter built in.
- Your CONVERTER takes 120V incoming power and converts it to 12 volt. The one in your coach probably is attached to the breaker panel. If I remember correctly, ours had two 20 Amp fuses controlling it. It fed 8 12 volt circuits from there.
- The Transfer Switch is strictly 120 Volt. It simply switches your incoming power. It is fed by either the Power Pole or the Generator and power is fed then to the 120 breaker panel and the converter.
We removed the existing power panel and replaced everything with 50 Amp incoming service. Most replacements now offer intelligent battery charging built into the converter. I understand that the PD9200 series are considered to be one of the good converters.
Doing what we did would cost well over $2000 because of the 2800 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter/Converter/Charger we installed. (We also added more batteries)
The PD9260 converter is $195.66 at Amazon but it is also found for less at PPL motorhome parts . Their part number is 55-9009.
Inteli-Power 9200, RV Converter/Chargers from Progressive Dynamics - PPL Motor Homes
I hope this explains things and helps. Please feel free to PM me with any other questions.

The vinyl planking is being laid on the slide-out this week. It is amazing just how many cuts have to be made for this area!

SarahW- we placed the furniture into the slide to give you better photos!
I believe we decided the front trim piece will match the wood coloring of the dining table which will help tie everything together.

Surprises
Sometimes it may be the unexpected things that bring big smiles to a person- like coming home tonight to find a section of flooring in the driver area has been completed!
