The reading light fixture that will go on the bottom of the front overhead cabinet has been shipped. DH added a new GFCI plug there also.
The computer that will travel with us and hook to the TV is in the process of being built. It is unbelievable just how small it is!
(I will post a picture or two soon.)

Since it was asked...
What was the thought process behind getting a dedicated micro PC (wireless keyboard and mouse) for connection to the TV vs. setting up connection for the TV to a laptop?
I ask because we have the main salon TV set-up to get fed from a laptop (basic monitor cable and 3.5mm audio cord) but have only used it a few times. The laptop gets much more use as a stand-alone in and out of the RV.
Just wondering.
Thanks

Scarab0088 - we chose this set-up for a few different reasons.
- Laptop tends to get hot on the lap when you are holding it.
- My laptop is over 8 years old and won't take all the updates it needs without having to do an upgrade (cha-ching)
- The mini-PC has an HDMI cable connection which will give a better quality connection when hooked to the TV
- The mini-PC can be locked and left in the RV if we so choose to do that
- Any thief may not realize it IS a PC and might leave it behind if they saw it (which also means it can be well hidden.)
- We almost never take the laptop outside to use -and I can always use a tablet for outside if I needed to.
- It weighs less and I don't have to remember to grab it out to take out of the house when we leave home.
I am sure DH has a few other reasons to add to the list-but that may give you an overall view of why we did our setup this way.

Front Cabin Reading Lamp
We have installed the new map lamp in the front cabin area.
Can you see the difference in each lamp? We switched the bulbs out- Can you guess which bulb stayed in the lamp? You can find out the answer and more on my blog here.

Hepvo
DH is now working on the kitchen sink plumbing.
We are getting rid of the conventional p-trap and replacing it with the HepVo sanitary waste valve.
Has anyone else installed one of these?

Thanks Doggy Daddy-
I guess I should have asked if anyone has installed it and how they like it . (We know how to install it- but I was more concerned about how people like it! )
