Current- Stairwell Re-Do
Here is a hint to what is going on in the Damon-
The back wood pieces are part of the flooring and the side carpet is the same carpet on the doghouse and what will be going down in the bedroom area.
The rest of the flooring is also going in.

Looks like you have the curved threshold with bottom step lower than top of threshold - really hard on feet with thin or no shoes. Remoce curved piece and rubber mat. add couple plywood layers to bring step up and even with top of threshold and reinstall mat. Your feet will thank you. And its easier to sweep stuff out.

Dee,
The one piece stair tread cover with edge (called the nose) is called "stair tread cap." They are available in cut to fit lengths and are made of rubber, vinyl, etc. Like:
Rubber Stair Treads are Rubber Stair Coverings by American Stair Treads
Best luck

Flooring Again
DH is almost complete with the flooring- which has been the most recent project that is close to completion.
Here is a photo:

He has one SOB cut left and then a coupe of small pieces - I think he has done a great job!

Nice job, Ron. And, no small undertaking, at that!
That goes for the rest of the projects you have undertaken, too
