Okay- I guess I can't complain when a furnace lasts for 16 years- but Dang It...does it have to smell like burning rubber 10 days before we plan to hit the road???
DH had tried to order a new furnace last week-but the model we chose is not in stock anywhere. We decided to wait- UNTIL the furnace smelled like it did today.
We have now ordered the same unit that has lasted for over a decade. Here is hoping the new unit gets here in the priority shipping that was paid for AND we get it installed in time for the trip planned in 10 days from now!

I spent part of my free time today searching for and downloading some "Owners Manuals" so that we have access to everything in the form of a PDF.
Today was the first time I actually paid attention to the "Damon Class A Motorhome Owner's Manual" It lists the Challenger-Ultrasport-Intruder and Daybreak models on the front page, so it is a "something for everyone" manual. It is a copy - as in 37 pages of poor quality copies from a copy machine. It is stapled in the top left corner - otherwise it would be a bunch of loose pages. I also noted that it's print date is 07/95.Let me no remind you that our rig is a 1999!
I have scanned in this outdated "booklet" so that it is also in PDF form.
(Let me know if anyone wants a copy- you will have to send me your regular email through a PM though.)
I have a 1995 challenger so I would love a copy of the owners manuel.
Thanks for the research and phone call on my La Crosse remote sending unit. I didn't destroy it yet by opening it. That will happen this week as, I want to see what makes it tick. But, do have another on the way from Amazon.

Scott- Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your new to you Intruder!
I am going to apologize- but we have ever had any wiring diagrams- we have just dug in and traced them back the hard way. I can give you the Brochure PDF. I can also email the 1999 "Owners Manual" in PDF form if you PM me your email address.
