Dash Entertainment Center

We added a few things that I call my "Dash Entertainment Area". I has added the hands free and the radio within hands- reach of the new remote...

I will take this any day of the week!

Toad Is Ready

We finally have the Jeep ready to tow behind the Damon!

We installed an SMI Stay-in-Play braking system...

...along with the wiring for the toad lights.

This means we will be ready for our anniversary trip in October.

Equalize Your Batteries

PSA...

Equalizing your RV house batteries should extend your battery lives.

Please google the proper procedure for your inverter.

Rear License Plate Light

We had an issue where the rear license plate light finally cracked and was falling off so the DH ordered and replaced the the rear LP light...

The light is much brighter than before. You can see our new license bracket that we updated here.

You Want to Cut a HOLE Where??

"...Okay... breathe deep....breathe deep..." were my thoughts as SacsTC said 'I am going to cut a hole in the fiberglass'....
This is what I walked out to see when I came home...

Oh Lord..what is he thinking? He was thinking he needed to put the Banks Super Scoop into a different location.

I am happy to say that it turned out fine - You can see the finished results here...

Side Bedroom Blinds Install

Our bedroom blinds are being changed out...
We have been living with single material blinds that looked like this..

We have installed new blinds that are double honey-combed that have a side view like this...

Any guesses what the side blinds look like now? You can see more photos here...

Nice wood work. Have you had the rig weighed fully loaded for travel. We are always at or a little over weight. Damon used lite materials and some of our mods where with solid wood increasing the weight.

We pulled down all our old “paper thin” shades and whet with MCD.

You posting has be the insperation for several of our rig’s remodel projects.

Thanks again.

Thanks Steve for the encouragement. I am glad we are an inspiration to anyone, We have had the rig weighed once a few years ago and we were just fine. I do plan on having it weighed again soon. (Luckily what we have done has not been a huge weight increase!)

Back Blind Is Up!

We finally got the very back blind up. (Please understand that when I see 'we' that I mean "He" !!)

This is what we were working with...

...and here is the new blind in the "up" position...

This blind has a lot of features including dropping from the top or the bottom...I will do another post showing some of the features soon!
