Shopping Spree Update

I am SOOOO excited!!
We have already received the topper awning replacement fabric AND the "Back-Up Camera" but that is just the beginning of the week.

Wednesday looks to be a very busy day!

The sofa that has "An Estimated Ship Date" of November 6th turns out to be the actual delivery date!

The tow hitch will be delivered on Wednesday also.

The cabinet man sent me a message that he will be here with the bedroom cabinets on Wednesday!

I just hope we can get the cabinets in the bedroom area early enough that I have the bedroom area done and the spot where the sofa goes empty of the mattress and bedding stuff.

Sofa

I feel like a kid in the candy shop!

I need sleep but I am so excited about all the stuff that will be here on Wednesday - I decided to share a rendition of the sofa.
This is the design but ours is a solid color instead of two-tone.

Here is the design- We have chosen a jack-knife sleeper since it will only be used for grandchildren- and they can sleep on anything!

(PS- can you tell I have just recently discovered how to use the faces! )

New Sofa

The sofa is here- it just isn't ready for travel yet. (We need to install the tie-down brackets.)

Drafty Vents

We are replacing the Norcold with a residential fridge. We realizied just how much of a draft there is with the Norcold out- so this is what we came up with:
Here is part of the vent before the fix-

Thick quality packing foam cut with slits to cover vent opening-

-and then Eternabond to finish sealing the openings-

AC Roof Cover Replacement

You can tell how dry & brittle the AC covers were from this pic - one of them shattered when it slipped from my hands.

There are more photos on my blog - you should see the "surprise" we found when we removed one of the covers!

Look at the bright side it did not get ripped off by a gust of wind by a passing semi and hit someone else.

Oh yes - you are correct! That had been one of my fears, which is why I was willing to spend the money to get a new set of covers before we take "the Diamond" out!

Water Tank Connection Is Complete!

DH could not finish the water tank connection until after the new bedroom cabinets were in. I am happy to say that this project is now done!
The 2 holes were drilled into the cabinet in order to run the hoses-

I am happy to say the air and water hoses are run and the water tank installation project is now complete!
