really weird
any who its a safecar.gov
i searched under damon as a equipment and a recall came up for the steering arm fasteners that attach the steering arm or tie rods arms to the spindles as they my be over tight or not tight enough
the warning is the arm fasteners could fatigue and fracture and cause a crash without warning
said to call f/l or damon as they haven't figured out how to notify owners yet
no serial numbers were listed, except that its for 126 my 2007/2008 tuscany
and my 2008 astoria and astoria pacific built on a f/l chassis.
i have a warranty job on weds so i will ask them about it while in the bay
the nhtsa campaign number is 08V054000 with 326 units may being affected
the other one is a 08V391000 it has 179 tuscany my 2008
and astorias with the saf-holland adl rear suspension. the transverse beam is not welded correctly which could affect rear end controla nd possible CRASH
i have no idea which rear suspension i have
i thought it was neway or something
going to call damon as well in the morning to try and get serial numbers
