Our first time out the hot water heater was not plugged in! Thanks to a helpful neighbor at the campground we had it fixed in minutes!

I also have an outside gas connection for my grill and I can't get it to work either. I am not smelling gas at all. Gas says 85% and the stove works

Ok, I found a very small shut off valve at the end of the outside grill connection that was hidden by one of the safety tags. Still no luck on the water heater but I think there is another shut off valve somewhere. I will check it tomorrow and post back

Gas

If you're getting a spark but no flame the problem has to be gas.

If you get flame for a few seconds it's either the air/fuel mixture to the thermocouple or the control board.

Did you remove the burner tube and the gas orifice? It doesn't take much to clog the orifice. I find guitar strings to be very useful in removing whatever crawled in there. Be sure to use the smallest string..... It's not a difficult thing to do.

You might have a defective gas valve and/or solenoid.

Just enough to stop the flow of gas. It didn't cut the hose at all

Poor/hastey construction and lousy qc at the factory, followed by no or very poor pdi by the selling dealer. The least they should do is check to see that everything actually works. Your dealer needs to know they blew it.

I took step by step photos and sent them an email with a nice little pep talk

I was just going to tell you to open a wall and look to see if a wall was built on top of the gas line
