Water Pump Location

Can anyone tell me where the water pump is located on a 2011 Damon Tuscany, 42RQ. Not having any problems with it, but want to do some PM. Thanks..

They aren't exactly silent. If you open compartments that might contain the pump, then turn on a faucet and listen, I'd think it would show itself by the noise. They are generally located in a heated space for cold weather use, lower or on level with the bottom of the water tank.

Welcome to irv2. I moved your thread to our Damon section to get some owner input.

Owners Manual

Welcome to the forum!
I found this in one of the online Tuscany Owners Manuals:
(page 37- chapter 6- Plumbing System)
The fresh water storage tank supplies potable water to all fixtures within your motorhome
by means of a 12 Volt water pump. This pump is located close to the storage tank and is equipped with a check valve that ensures directional flow away from the tank.
The pump has an on/off switch, which is located on the monitor panel, bathroom, or
termination compartment. The pump will automatically build up pressure and maintain
that pressure when turned on. The pump should be turned off when the fresh water tank
is empty or when the motorhome will not be in use. Continued operation with a dry tank
may damage the pump. Your pump has a filter on the inlet side. This filter should be
cleaned after each tankful of water for the first few uses. To remove the cover press in
firmly and twist counterclockwise about one eighth turn. Pull the screen out of the bowl
and rinse clean. Reassemble in the reverse fashion. For more information check your
water pump Owner’s Manual located in your Owner’s Information Kit.

Our Tuscany has a basement compartment door that opens so you can view through a slit the depth of water in the fresh water tank. There is a rectangular cover plate held in place by screws above the water tank, and the pump is accessible through that cover plate opening. Like BFlinn says turning on a tap and running the pump will lead you to your pump. Let us know how it goes.

Water Pump Location

For those that my run into this in the future. The water pump is located on top of the freshwater tank. You can gain access to the pump by loosening and lowering the upper panel in the roof of the storage compartment (basement). The wall between the storage compartment and the freshwater tank has an access port, to the water pump, which has a screw off cover. In order to see what you're doing, you'll need to remove the side panel, located above the location of the freshwater tank, under the slide-out. From there you can see the pump, and then reach the pump through the access hole to perform maintenance or replacement. It's tight, but can be done...
