windshield wiper failure

I have a 2009 Damon Daybreak on a Workhorse
chassis with the 8.1 GMC engine. The wipers stuck in a straight up position in a recent rain. When I looked under the hood, there was a bolt from the linkage caught under the bolt head that holds the linkage to the bracket. I was able to bend it to get it to work, but it did the same thing again. Does anyone know who made the assembly and where parts can be purchased?

on our 8.1 we found that the wiper motor connections in the engine compartment were getting wet during rainstorms. I disconnected the connectors sprayed and cleaned with electrical cleaner then applied dielectric grease, wrapped with plastic wrap and have had no more problems

Thanks twocoots. The wipers work when they aren't being held back by the bolt. After bending it back 5-6 times, it seems like the bracket has weakened and as soon as I turn the wipers on it bends and binds up again. Something is causing the wiper linkage to bend.

Steve,

If you can't find the original parts, these folks might be able to help.
