2007 Thor Windsport

2007 Thor Windsport : parked in storage lot and did not turn coach & chassis battery switches off! Result is dead batteries. Jumped motorhome to start but now NO coach battery power AND nothing works while engine running..AC, radio, fans?? Any suggestions appreciated.

The Battery Control Center (BCC) will not allow power from the engine alternator to switch over and also power the house side, to include recharging the batteries, until the chassis battery charge goes above 13.3 volts for 14 seconds or so. In other words you need to wait for the engine battery to recharge.

You should be able to force some power over by pressing and holding the AUX Start switch and try to start the generator to bring the AC/DC converter on line to charge the house batteries.

Just a thought how about clicking the reset on the 100/500 amp by the battery casing. I have to do this on my Thor a.c.e. When the system trips itself occasionally
