2013 ACE 29.2 Power door step

How do I turn off the step to keep it from extending when I open the door? If I park to close to the street curb, the step hits the curb when I open the door?
Thanks!

I don't think there Is a way to disable the step other than pulling fuses.

Unusual that there would not be a switch to disable it. I have a Winnebago 35u with a switch near the door to disable but is overridden if the engine is running.

The only other way that I know of to keep it from extending is to turn off the chassis power before opening the door. The step is actually wired into the chassis and not the coach.
