2017 Venetian solar.

Hi, looking for help. I have a 2017 Venetian M37. I want to add solar panels to the coach. The spec sheet says is pre wired for solar. I could find the connections on the roof but cannot find the controller. I thought it was supposed to be on the same bay as the inverter but not there. If you can guide me to where it is that would be great...a picture of it even better. Thanks in advance.

Prewire option typically dies not include a controller. Just the wiring.

Prewire typically runs from the roof - to interior where other RV switches and such are located (user supplied controller goes here) and then in to the house battery bay. Another option is to run from the roof to a location near the batteries and the controller is located there. Someone with specific knowledge if your coach will likely be along soon to provide further details.

We added solar to our 17 M37 and as stated above a controller was needed in addition to the panels.

Jrod, Do you know the wire gauge used in the pre-wire? Call Thor, they should be able to tell you where the pre-wire goes.

The panels were 165 watt Hy Tech. The MH is in winter storage and I don't remember the brand of controller.
