2018 Gemini 24TF Made by Thor

Hi
Looking to purchase a 2018 Gemini 24tf motor couch. Mercedes diesel and chassie. Hove tried to find reviews but having no luck. Does anyone have info and quality and towing ability as they say can tow up to 4000 lbs. seems to us that a 3.0 litre engine with 188hp and 325 torque is small. Any info would be great.
Thanks

No experience with the 24tf, but like the looks of the size and full slide.

Our coach:

HP 362
Torque 457
4,500 lb toad

GVWR 18,000 - Actual 16,200 loaded for camping = 45 lbs/HP, 36 lbs per ft/lb

GCWR 23,000 - Actual 20,700 loaded with toad attached = 57 lbs/HP, 45 lbs per ft/lb

Toad percentage of GVWR = 25%

If your toad is 4,000 lbs your numbers would look something like this, just guessing:

HP 188
Torque 325

GVWR 11,030 - Estimated loaded GV weight 10,500

55 lbs /hp, 32 lbs per ft/lb torque

GCWR 15,520 - Estimated combined GV weight 14,500

77 lbs/HP, 45 lbs per ft/lb of torque

Toad percentage of GVWR = 26%

My guess would be that your coach would perform about the same as ours when loaded and towing. Your horse power to weight is a little lower but the torque is about the same. If you have not purchased a toad yet, try to find the lightest one that will fit your needs. A Honda Fit is about 3,000 lbs and would improve your tow performance.
If we didn't have a large dog and did not already have the Jeep we tow, we would like to have a similar coach as yours with a small toad.

Corrected to 36%

My guess would be that your coach would perform about the same as ours when loaded and towing. Your horse power to weight is a little lower but the torque is about the same. You may have some tail wag from the higher toad percentage of GVWR. If you have not purchased a toad yet, try to find the lightest one that will fit your needs. A Honda Fit is about 3,000 lbs and would improve your tow performance.

After reviewing my post, I see that it had some errors.
