A.c.e. 2016 29.3

I should have asked this many years ago. I have a 29.3 2016 A.C.E. Bought new and (ashamed to admit) have less than 5K miles on it. Needless to say, I have used my RV about 6 times since I bought it. Here is my question. My hot water is coming out of my right faucets in kitchen, bathroom sink, shower and when flushing the toilet. Appears that OEM may have crossed the hot and cold. Any recommendations as for trouble shooting to change these back around where hot is coming out of the left side and cold water for toilet?

I would look at owners manual for a plumbing diagram. That should help. If you don’t have it try logging into the Thor Owners website. Just go to main Thor page and click owner.

On my 30.2 in the water bay behind outdoor shower if I remove the panel there is a manifold with all cold water connections. If the supply to this was hot that would cause all your issues. If you don’t have a similar manifold or it’s cold there then you need to source where the supply lines connect. I have pex run under the sinks and normal supply lines under sink. If you have same set up then unscrewing the supply lines is an easy fix under sinks. Is your water pump and sewer compartment inside a storage bay?

My water heater is under kitchen sink. Check those areas.

On my 2015 29.3 the water heater and the valves for the water heater bypass were under the kitchen sink. There was a piece of paneling that covered one of the bypass valves. If you remove the panel it will expose all the piping to the water heater. You can switch the hot and cold lines fairly easily there. They may be flex lines with hand connections, can't remember for sure.

I put the panel back with a couple of screws so I could access it again if needed.

Here is a video I posted on youtube about changing out the kitchen sink, it shows some of the piping to the water heater:

This condition is also possible if the water heater bypass valve or outdoor shower faucet were left open.
