Entry latched failed (again). Still operates but I have to open it for the ladies. Only two things can open it now from the inside, one is me, the other is an angry gorilla. Will probably replace when home.

I keep chanting to myself as I ride jackhammer roads through Chicago traffic, RVing is fun, RVing is fun, RVing is fun....
Changed the o ring in the transponder for the tpms, works now. Another one started skipping today, probably need to change all the o rings.

tightened the mounting screws on the door latch and it works well again. Looks like a job for lock tite.

Dropped the step motor today, some teeth on gears were stripped. Turned the drive gear 180 degrees and reinstalled the motor. Seems to work ok, at least for now.

Crank out windows mod

Here is a crappy video but it has not been edited and I had to film by myself so skip through where I drop the spacer and have to pick it up and also I was attempting to cut and hold the camera at the same time so that is useless watching but disassembly and reassembly you can see. Notice the whole video is only 2:18

https://youtu.be/LmmrchRwoH8

Here is a tip, if the screw seems to be stripped you have to use a small straight blade screw driver to try and push up on the bottom of the screw to get the threads to engage. They probably drive them in with screw guns. I had to do that on 2 screws, the rest were tight but came out

Does anyone have these split windows?

I can't find any screws that would release the glass so I can get to the plastic spacer.

I'd rather not drill out the rivets if I can avoid it.

Ahhh, I see your problem. On my thor I dont have the split windows. I only have one split window in the bedroom about 10" wide. Look on the inside and see if there are any screws retaining the window from sliding, if not, you are stuck with having to drill out the rivets and remove the mechanism that way and rivet or screw crank back in.

Anyone know who manufactured the vinyl flooring in the 2015 Ace? Need to buy some seam sealer for the popped screw repair.

When I had a large gash in the floor from my Corian cutting board Sliding of the counter I used a two part epoxy to fill the gap and also seal the edges ....that was over a year ago and no issues yet. I think it was lock tite brand

Step stopped working again. Flipping the pinion gear did not work long. The problem was not in the rack and pinion between the motor/gear box and the drive gear box. The problem was internal to the motor/gear box part.

Ordered the replacement on Amazon while in Spokane, WA. Picked up part at a RiteAid drug store in Olympia, WA the next day.
