Fresh water tank vent hose mold

When filling the fresh water tank today I noticed the tank vent hose had mold in it. Tried to clean it with bleach and pulling paper towels through it, only got about half of it. Replaced it with a piece of regular 1/2' drinking water hose.

Will replace it with clear hose when I get a chance so I can see if it gets mold again.

Makes me wonder about the fill hose? Can't see through it to check for mold.

Have a major brain cramp. Can not remember what one of the switches is for at the entry steps.

3 are labeled- Battery, Awning, Step

3 are not labeled- Ceiling lights, porch light, third one I can not remember

Anyone know what it is for?

Was checking coach batteries today and found that screws had fell out that attached the front bottom of the battery compartment to the outside wall.

Compartment was swinging front to back on the top 4 attachment bolts.

I have added a third battery so the additional weight probably didn't help the situation. Plan to replace missing screws with larger ones and locktight them.

They were sheet metal screws, maybe #8, 1" long, square bit pan head.
I used #12 x 1" stainless sheet metal phillips head. No drilling required, fit existing holes in Battery box angle. Seemed to snug up and hold well. Used lock tight also. 15 min job.

I had the same problem on our 29.2. While I haven't yet added the third battery, I'm sure the Alaska Highway was the probable cause of the screws loosening and falling out, plus the poor workmanship of over torquing nearly all of the screws in the coach. It is amazing how many screw heads were spun off or holes/threads stripped throughout the coach. I was able to slip some plastic screw anchors into the holes so I could reuse some of the same screws, and used bigger screws elsewhere. I also drilled new pilot holes for #12 screws in between the existing screws and locked all of them down with locktite. If they come loose again I am drilling all the way through the coach from the outside and using stove bolts and lock nuts.

I now check the battery compartment every week or so, especially after driving on rough roads.

Stripped screws and spun heads were plentiful on mine as well. I suspect we two are not the only owners with the battery compartment issue.

How is this splitter working for you MM?

Had this AV plug drop down from under radio. Can someone tell me what it plugs in to?

Ended up going with a powered one and it has worked with no problems.

I remeber this. I think its an audio cable that runs from the camera switch to the head unit.
As your camera has no microphone its obsolete.
