Nah. I probably should give them a call, but I'm leaning more toward a heat shield and sound insulating barrier for my coach. custom made by myself of course.

One of the items arrived yesterday, its the heat shield for the fuel line. Still waiting for the main heat shield.
I'm with you Sanford, I trust myself to come up with a much better solution. Let me know what you come up with for a sound insulator, we surely need one.

Mine is at the dealership right now being installed. Everyone should be screaming about this. This is a design flaw by Thor.

Mine's at the dealer, but the temp's are about 20* cooler - so they can't get it to fail. Shield and wrap should be in Monday and temps are going to the high 90's so we'll see...

Has any one thought about lover ing the door for ventilation? Like old hot rodders use to do. That way you would still have the body paint and protection from the rain? Just a thought.

I think the issue is the materials the door is made out of, I don't think you can press louvers in the foam filled door. But it would look sweet

Thor only mentioned sending a heat shield to me. I'm wondering if they are sending new doors if they are sending painted ones for those of us with full body paint.
