Nice work 'rivraton'.
Question:
Can you describe, and/or supply pix, re how you ran/hid the wires below the speaker compartments to the radio?
Thanks!

I drilled a hole through the bottom of the compartment to the channel below on both sides,. On the right side I pulled the wire across the front cap to the left side, then dropped both wires down in front of the driver's side plastic windshield pillar trim piece and under the dash to the radio. I then tucked the wires behind the front edge of the trim piece.

Nice work rivraton, can I ask why you have two different speakers? Are you running a cross over, just wondering why you did it that way, and if you like it. Do you think 1 speaker on each side would be enough? I was looking at small box speakers to sit in that space, and a subwoofer by the driver seat. I don't need a lot of power, just enough so I can hear music up front, everyone in the back are doing their own thing. Nice mod, I like it.

Yes, I installed crossovers and the 6 X 9s are for bass, the 5 1/4s are for mid & high end. I don't like sub woofers, If you like them then single 2 or 3 ways on each side would be fine. I had a couple of Panasonic 2 way shelf speakers from an old home theater in there and they sounded OK but it needed a just little more low end.

On our 29.2 were used small tension bars between the windows to apply pressure and no window noise

Window rattle can easily be fixed by a sliver of soft side Velcro at two to three places in the inside edge of the window. Snugs it nicely into the track. Done in both fronts that were blown wildly and rattled to all hell in a string cross wind.

Thats what we did. A 1" square of adhesive backed loop side velcro in three places between the factory supports. The first few times closing the window took some firm force but there is not peep of rattle since. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post.
P.S. I was able to "borrow" some velcro from where I work.

I've added the Velcro too in 2 spots but in a heavy gust it still rattles! Only drivers side does it now but it seems like it rattles in the middle where the two glass panels meet. They are way too close to add Velcro between panels.

Can't pull it out because there is a stop at the bottom. How do you remove the stop?

This was in response to how do you remove the slide out pantry in an ACE 29.1.
