ACE step blows fuses

My 29.2's Kwikee step was working fine & now it's blowing 5 amp fuses. Any ideas?
Thanks, Harry

It is a mistake to allow any mechanical object to realize that you are in a hurry.

It blows upon extend and retracting? Sounds like your motor may be binding up. Does it move at all before it blows the fuse?

I had a step on another motor home that was bent, and the motor had to work hard to retract it, and would blow the fuse. After I got eh bracket straight again, it was fine.

My step light is working, but nothing on the motor ??? Can you tell me where the fuse for the step is located ??? I don't see it labeled on the panel in the coach on the side of the bed in my 2014 29.2.

The step fuse is in the engine compartment, driver side. On mine, it's a 5 amp (#23). Very hard to get in and out but I've gotten good at it.
