Air Horns
I’m thinking about putting a or set of air horns on my coach. (Hidden). (36.1). Has anyone tried this. If so, what do you recommend and where did you purchase them.

I took off my Hadleys because they corroded and went to Peterbuilt and purchased their triple train horns.
Now those are horns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Train horns are nice, but they need respect. Like almost everyone else, we have them in front of the rig. I purchased (Like CooperHawk) a set (3) and I put them in the engine compartment, (hanging up-side down) for a reason. Every time (almost) I want to turn right, some one else thinks they can beat you at the punch. I blow them and don't stop until they wake up. Some drivers don't wake up. But the novelty has wore off. After being escorted out of town (Waldo, Fla.) Elderly lady scared out of her wits, stopping traffic (both ways) at a rail crossing and I could go on and on, but do have engineers waving at me some times. Like I said RESPECT. I can still hear her, " Is that necessary"

Oh my yes.
Mine have a switch that lets me turn them off and use just the electric horn in cities.
I blew these in the shop where we installed them and cans rattled off the shelves, but they do get attention when I need it.

I found a set (3) of Outlaw train horns which was a dead ringer for my Thor Outlaw. The included air compressor fits under the Battery control center and the horns fit infer the battery pointing down. I opted to splice into the electric horn wire for tire horn power on demand. The Prius owners trying to merge into my slides have awakened.
