Aluminum Wheels

Does anyone know if the aluminum wheels on the Challengers are coated or non-coated? I was reading an article in the FMCA magizine about cleaning and shining aluminum wheels. It staes you should not polished coated wheels and give two marking to look for. The only marking I can find is on the rear that is stamped Ford Superalloy. I'm assuming that they are not coated. The article also states that if you can't find a marking do a test. Well I hate to by a polish just to find I can't use it.

just about any polish will do.
if the rag turns black the wheel is not coated.
