Any new Omni/Magnitude owners?

So I was hooking up my tow car for the first time on my 2022 Omni XG32. I go to attach the safety cables to the Omni tow assembly and there is nowhere that they will attach to! There is a metal plate that the receiver is attached to but the holes in the plate are such that they won’t fit the standard safety cable hooks. They are oval in shape and they are cut too far from the edge of the plate to allow the hook to fit.
Anybody else dealing with this? What solution have you come up with? Photos would be a real plus!

I think most folks use a screw chain link. These popped up on Amazon and look interesting. Not sure what the dimensions are.

I don’t understand why you joined the Forest River group, when the Omni manufacturer is Thor.

Hi LaurieG,
You are right, that is very confusing. All I can say is that on 9/25 we did own a 2022 Omni and yes, it is made by Thor. At the time we were driving to Elkhart, Indiana to trade it in for a Berkshire that is made by Forest River. We did trade it in and I did join the Forest River group. My post was confusing and awkward. Sorry for that.
