Rumor has it that you need to remove the dog house to get to the oil fill on the new V8. The fill cap is on the drivers side.

I can stick a long hose and funnel from above the wipers into my V10 on the passenger side, right next to the battery.

To just remove the negative battery cable, move the heater air hoses and that terminal is reachable.
To replace the battery, you need to remove the dash desk and cut out the board below it. Then you can pull the battery out the hole.

I cut the hole to fix the AC but still have the original battery in there.

Axis/Vegas Oil Changes

I have a 2014 Axis 24.1 and did my own oil changes for the first three years. It can be done but not easily. On my Axis the fill tube is on the passenger side back and to the right of the battery. Access required loosening of the vent hoses and the use of a funnel attached to an extension hose. My wife would hold the funnel and I would pour oil. I'm not risking taking open oil containers inside the coach.

Now I take it to my local Ford Dealer who services trucks as well as cars. They have a ramp system to facilitate access to the underside and now I let them change oil - If I supply oil and filter it's about $30 and if they do it all, it's about $80.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Chassis Battery

I hate the battery location. I took the work desk out to get to it, but just to verify how old it was and that it was maintenance free. When the weather is cooler, I plan to pull it out and relocate it to the front storage bay on the passenger side.

The RVMasterController will go to sleep if it has been left on for more than 48 hours and not been used in that time.

Touching the screen will not wake up the RVMasterController.

To wake up the RVMasterController and use the RVMaster App again:

Using the < or > button on the RVMasterController, navigate to the ‘OF’ function

Navigate to the ‘OF’ function

Press EXT to wake the display

Press 1 to use the RVMaster
