BMPRO app crash with slideout problem

2022 Thor Gemini ... the BMPro RV master app crashed. Fortunately the slide was in, and I was parked in my backyard. The Android screen was there, but the RV master app was gone! I searched Youtube, did the reloads carefully No Joy. Somehow I found a 1.5 min video with a nice lady describing a fix that can only be described (politely) as HUHHHHHH??? The fix was to hold the bathroom light switch on for 7 seconds. Having tried everything else....why not????? Watching the useless screen, I held the bathroom light switch down. After 7 seconds, the RV master screen came back, and every thing worked as advertised. THOR.....ARE YOU LISTENING?? Hopefully the engineers at Thor will have an answer.
On a General Note: We have had a hard sided RVs since 1985, I think we have Been There, Done That including 6 years full time. If there is one issue that needs to be addressed in EVERY owners manual it us how to manually operate the slide outs. If you are in the weeds somewhere, and the normal system fails....

We had the same thing happen. Called Thor and the Tech gave us the same instruction. I said "Wha-a-a-t?" But it worked. I would love to know why.

All the youtube videos I can find show the panel with the buttons on the bottom. Using that version, there is a manual button to push. The Gemini version does not have those buttons. I have no clue why, but I would like to know.
