Challenger 37GT Empty Weight
We are new to RVs and concerned about weight. I am building a loading/weight table and can't find empty weight for a Challenger 37GT. I plan to weigh mine as soon as I get it back from the dealer but could get a head start with my table if someone happens to have an empty weight.
Thanks in advance.

This post has the corner weights listed but you'd have to ask john what he had loaded. With those numbers he's almost 4k under the GVWR so we have a lot of unused capacity http://www.irv2.com/forums/f121/thor-challenger-owners-unite-150811-7.html#post1482561
You'll also notice that the passenger side is heavier and that's without water on board!

If you don't mind, can you post your weights on the thread I linked above so other challenger owners will have it for future reference? It would be helpful.
Using the weights John found using his set of calibrated scales and the Michelin guide for proper tire inflation, I'll be running 85 in the duals and 70 in the front.
I use a Dual Dynamics Crossfire tire pressure monitoring and balancing system in the rear. Here is my post to the install: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f121/thor...ml#post1491059

I will post my weights as soon as I get them. I only have a truck stop available and plan to get weights for each axle, wheel and total weight.

Very unusual for the rears to take more air than the front. Are you reading the tire manufacturers charts right?

I feel I am. The heaviest weight being on the passenger side at 3400 front and 6600 rear
From the Michelin guide
"In the load and inflation tables, SINGLE means an axle with one tire mounted on each end, while DUAL means an axle with two tires mounted on each end. The loads indicated represent the total weight of an axle end in an RV application. When one axle end weighs more than the other, use the heaviest of the two end weights to determine the unique tire pressure for all tires on the axle. The maximum cold air pressure for each axle may vary, depending on their weights. These tables are applicable for all RV axles, whether or not they are power-driven."
