I just took our 2007 Hurricane out of winter storage on the weekend. All looked good until I tried to fire up the furnace. No life at all, not even the blower. I had it in to CW last November to have a few things sorted out and the furnace not running was one of the things they fixed (no power to thermostat).

I do have sufficient propane in the tank, the valve is open, the oven has gas, the LP detector is working, battery has sufficient charge. When I switch the thermostat to heat and slide the temperature to a high setting the furnace does not kick in. No tell tale noises at all. I guess there is no power to the thermostat again.

I removed the thermostat from the wall to check it out. The fuse is intact and there does not appear to be any loose wires. I am baffled. Any thoughts or suggestions.

Stephen

Some RV furnaces have an on/off switch located outside behind the panel, have you checked to see if CW left this switch off?

Double check the ground wire. I'm not sure you can see it, and may have to feel for it. Sometimes it appears to be connected but a crimp connector may not be tight. That was the problem with my Suburban unit. Also,If you have a Duotherm thermostat it may need to be re-booted!

Check the outside panel and open it. Maybe the white connector is loose it is beside the pop out knob and has about 4 or 5 wires going to it.or pull in off and check for corrosion since it was in storage , easy cleaning with small sandpaper for good contacts. Also clean the pins in the connector. .

I just removed the exterior cover from the furnace and found the reset switch, flicked it on and we have heat.

If only all MH issues were that easy. Thanks for the help.
