Has anyone removed the couch from their ACE 29.2

and replaced it with a pair of euro type swivel recliner? If so, I would be interested in how this mod went. Pics if available would be great

I've looked into it but I would move the two captains chairs to that spot then install two air ride seats like in the big RVs. I would use the kind in my 18 wheeler but they don't swivel 180*. Still looking for a deal on chairs.

Now that's a good idea!! I was wanting to have the ability to secure the chairs during travel - then have the ability to detach and move them for better TV viewing and reclining once parked. Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

I replaced the sofa in a 2013 ACE 30.1. The original sofa was comfortable until you sat on it for about 5 minutes so we decided to replace it with two recliners. The problem was two recliners just didn't fit into the space right. I then started looking for a love seat that would fit the space. I found just what I wanted at an Ashley Furniture store. The love seat has two separate electrically reclining seats. Its overstuffed and comfortable for watching TV (in the 30.1 the
tv is in front of the sofa). What you have to consider is how to get any chair or love seat into the camper. Not only is the door narrow but you have several steps up which limits the door opening height. I had to take the love seat apart and then just barely got it in and then had to reassemble the unit once inside the camper. I used the existing seat belts to tie the love seat in place. It works great. Oh, because the metal frame of the love seat (or chair) is larger than the sliding platform I installed three furniture legs I purchased from HD and installed Teflon sliders on the bottom so they would slide easily yet support the loveseat. It has worked will and makes watching a lot more comfortable. It was worth the work.
